FRG developed a long-range strategic financial plan on behalf of a 300+ bed public hospital in West Texas for the development of an Ambulatory Care Center (approximately $18 million) located in the Northeast portion of town and a Center for Women and Infants (approximately $40 million) located on the hospital campus.

This is a 417 bed hospital located in South Texas and had been without strong leadership in the supply chain operations for several years. The hospital was considering bringing in a large nationally known consulting group to do an assessment. FRG had the expertise in this area so we was brought in to assess the supply chain operations at a much lower cost than had been proposed.

FRG led the successful transition of a 600-bed, two-hospital, three-HMO academic medical center from County Ownership to a New Special Healthcare Taxing District. This was the first such transition in approximately twenty years in the US.

A 367 bed hospital system in the Midwest (Hospital ABC) was going through a change in its financial leadership with the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer. The System consisted of a 327 Bed hospital, a 40 Bed hospital as well as physician clinics and was opening a new location within 6 months. ABC retained Alan Townsend, a Partner with FRG, as the interim Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer beginning December 1, 2008, in order to overlap a month with the outgoing CFO.

FRG implemented the Axiom EPM Productivity application on behalf of a 300+ bed hospital system in the Pacific Northwest. This application enabled the client to consistently produce useful productivity information targeted to the needs of each user in a timely manner thereby adding reliable, accurate information and accountability to their productivity reporting process.
